- In my former life I lived in a condo in Cambridge and spent my free time reading the New Yorker, sipping Sonoma Cabernets, and listening to modern opera. Recently I realized that I didn't mean to become a yuppie, so I packed away my kitchen gadgets, my designer jeans, and my espresso maker, and set off for Oaxaca, Mexico. Here, I will study Spanish, cook mole, dance salsa, and seek a meaningful form of self-expression.
